| NEWCASTLE 75 REUNION THE CLASS OF 75 ~ 1975 - 2015 |

| SATURDAY 18TH JULY 2015 - BE THERE! |
Looking forward to catching up with everyone, having missed the last reunion. I
will be retiring 2 weeks after the reunion..40 years in the NHS..a good time to go!
Have really enjoyed and still enjoying my bespoke job. Am one of the old
fashioned part time Associate Specialists with two sessions in Oncology
looking after at present breast and ovarian malignancies but my main specialty
is Haematology, with mainly malignant work for the remaining five sessions.
With the camaraderie of hospital teams, being a non consultant and albeit
maximum part time I have been really sheltered from the stresses of medical
politics and management that I suspect the majority of you have had.
I have been able to have my cake and eat it ! I have been able to have time with
our children, their children..will be 5 by the time of the reunion and my animals.
John retired in 2013 and has set up a business with our son running 'mud runs'
locally so my new career will be very earthy! Any one fancy a five kilometre mud
run which runs like a 10 k with the hilly terrain..can get you half price tickets!
Aberdeen is the place to be!
