| After many happy years working in Fertility and Recurrent Miscarriage, I retired in 2011. I find retirement just as fulfilling as work but without the negatives. Pete and I enjoy simply being together so much and revel in all the choice retirement offers -- what to do, when to do it, whether to bother doing it at all... The house is getting more attention than it's ever had, ditto the garden, and we're finding plenty of opportunities to enjoy the local Oxfordshire/Berkshire countryside as well as further afield. We are very fortunate that both our daughter and son-in-law, in Norfolk, and our son and daughter-in-law, in Surrey, have children, and one of our greatest pleasures is being useful grandparents, the sort who drop everything and come. Carpe diem!" |
